The Great Tea Party for Chinese Orphans
01 June 2008
Invented in China, tea is the world’s favourite drink. The Chinese and British both have a passion for it. We have a passion for helping orphaned and abandoned children in China and would love you to join us for a cup of tea to support them!
The Great Tea Party 2008 will take place across the UK on and around June 1st - Children’s Day in China – to raise funds for the wonderful work being done there by small charities for orphaned and abandoned children.
Charities like Christian Action UK, The Gap Foundation and The Good Rock Foundation, which The Great Tea Party 2008 supports, are transforming the lives of children by providing medical treatment, access to education, foster care, life-skills training, emotional support, a sense of belonging, and last but not least, love.
By hosting your own tea party, you can be part of this work too. Please join us!
